We host hundreds of live shows, club nights and events each year, working with some of the best promoters, artists and creatives in the industry.We’re passionate about great music, unforgettable live experiences and the digital stories that connect audiences to them.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing team and help shape the online presence of Electric Group’s venues and events at a moment of significant change in our marketing output, ahead of launching our newest venue.You’ll support the Head of Marketing in delivering creative, data-driven campaigns across social media, websites, newsletters and paid advertising. From crafting engaging posts and email copy to reporting on campaign performance and exploring the next viral platform trend, you’ll be a key part of how we communicate with our audiences.This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes live music, has strong digital instincts and enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, executing and monitoring digital marketing campaigns for events, club nights and venue activity.Manage and grow Electric Group’s social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X etc.) with engaging, relevant content.Create and schedule posts, ensuring tone of voice and messaging are consistent across all venues.Support the setup, optimisation and reporting of Meta ad campaigns and other paid digital activity.Contribute to regular email newsletters (Mailchimp)Assist the Head of Marketing with general day to day administrative duties, including but not limited to diary and inbox management, meeting scheduling, minute taking and reportingAssist the Head of Marketing with general day to day administrative duties, including but not limited to diary and inbox management, meeting scheduling, minute taking and reportingResearch new marketing tools, trends and social platforms - always on the lookout for new opportunities to connect with audiences.Collaborate with internal teams and external promoters to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.Assist with basic graphic design, video editing and content production (training provided if needed).What We’re Looking ForAt least 1 year’s experience in a similar role — ideally within a venue, promoter, label or relevant freelance experience.Proven experience managing social media channels, email campaigns and/or websites.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and tone.Strong organisational skills - able to juggle multiple deadlines and projects.Self-motivated, proactive and confident working independently as well as collaboratively.Enthusiastic about digital culture, social media trends and marketing innovation.Experience with Meta Business Suite and basic campaign reporting.Photoshop and/or video editing skills are a plus (training provided).Experience creating original, music-focused TikTok content is a big advantage, especially if you can demonstrate audience growth or campaign results.Application ProcessPlease send your CV and a cover letter telling us why you’d be a great fit for the role.In your cover letter, include a specific example of how you’ve previously marketed an event, music release or other campaign that initially struggled to gain traction - and how you turned it into a success.We’d like to understand your creative thinking, problem-solving and ability to generate results.(Applications without this example will not be considered - we want to hear your story!)Bonus SkillsExperience with Mailchimp, Google Analytics or similar marketing tools.Familiarity with live music, nightlife or festival culture.Creative flair for video and content storytelling.A genuine passion for live events and digital marketing innovation.
