This exciting opportunity offers the chance to drive cutting-edge materials innovation in the mining and resources sector while working with industry-leading professionals.About The RoleBased at our Bibra Lake facility, you will report to the Manager Polyurethane and responsible for supporting the development and production for MinRes centre of innovation.Develop and characterise novel wear components to support mining operationsProvide QA testing for current product lines including DSC testing of epoxy polymers and analytical testing for polyurethanes and ceramic wear componentsSupport production chemistry including urethane and epoxy resin formulationsProvide Mechanical testing of wear and screen components including preparation and analysis of samples using the universal test machineApprove new raw materials for use in screen and wear componentsProduce technical reports to support product development and learningsSupport safe handling and storage of dangerous goods and hazardous chemicalsSupport workshop staff to meet production deadlineAbout YouMinimum BSc, Chemistry or Materials Science or BEng, Materials Science & EngineeringProven experience in a similar environmentGraduate with some experience preferredAbility to set priorities and work to deadlinesDemonstrates initiative and creative problem solving skillsMinRes can offer you!
