🏥 Medical Records CoordinatorCompany: Mausner Graham Injury Law PLLCLocation: On-site, 100% in-officeSchedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST✅ Requirements1–2 years of experience as medical records in a legal environment Good English level B2+.High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independentlyWorking knowledge of personal injury cases (a plus)📌 Key Responsibilities📁 Medical Records & Billing ManagementSubmit timely requests for medical records, bills, and liens using Smart AdvocateFollow up aggressively and consistently with providers, including hospitals and third-party portals (CIOX, MedRequest, etc.)Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all requests🗂️ Record Organization & UploadingAccurately review, name, and organize records and bills in Smart AdvocateNotify the legal team upon receipt of records via Slack, Smart Advocate notes, and email when necessaryMaintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards🔄 Follow-Up & WorkflowReview at least 25 files weekly to ensure all records, bills, and liens are up to dateFollow up on hospital records at 30 days and all other providers within 2–3 days of requestsKeep portals open and check daily for updates on outstanding requests🤝 Case & Team SupportCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on urgent case needsEscalate delays or issues to leadership promptlyTrack referred-out cases and follow up multiple times per week until signed or declinedParticipate in team meetings and assist with special projects as needed
