Position: MEP Construction ManagerLocation: Benghazi /LibyaIndustry : ConstructionJob Summary:We are seeking a proactive and experienced MEP Construction Manager to oversee our MEPprojects from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing theconstruction process, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgetwhile maintaining high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:• Site Managemento Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring compliancewith project plans and specifications.o Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resourceallocation.• Materials Managemento Oversee the ordering of construction materials, tools, and equipment based onproject requirements.o Manage inventory levels and coordinate with H.O. to ensure timely delivery andproper storage of materials on-site.• Site Logisticso Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of materials to ensure they arrive whenneeded and are organized for efficient use.o Set up the site layout, including access routes, work areas, and storage locationsfor materials and equipment.o Manage the hiring of construction plant & equipment based on projectrequirements.o Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained properly.o Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained and accessible on-site.• Team Leadershipo Lead and mentor the construction team, including foremen, laborers, andsubcontractors.o Foster a collaborative work environment to enhance team performance andmorale.• Stakeholder Liaisono Liaise with all site stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, maincontractors, and subcontractors, to ensure clear communication and alignmenton project goals.o Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction processpromptly.• Quality Controlo Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all work meetsindustry standards and project specifications.o Conduct regular inspections and audits of work performed.• Safety Managemento Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe workingenvironment for all personnel on-site.o Conduct safety meetings and training sessions as needed.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, mechanical or electrical engineering;Master’s degree preferred.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management in the MEP sector.• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Skills:• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
