MEP Site Mechanical Engineer

Position: MEP Site Mechanical Engineer Location: Sirt /Libya Industry :Construction : Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated MEP Site Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical installations on-site for our projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all mechanical work is completed in accordance with engineering standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision • Supervise on-site mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. • Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress and adherence to safety protocols. Coordination • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and coordination among trades. • Attend project meetings to provide updates on mechanical work and address any issues. Technical Support • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams regarding mechanical systems and installations. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving on-site mechanical issues. Documentation • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material usage. • Prepare and submit reports on project progress and any deviations from the plan. Quality Assurance • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all mechanical installations meet industry standards and project specifications. • Conduct final inspections and testing of mechanical systems prior to handover. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering for mechanical systems in the MEP industry. • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards is essential. Skills: • Strong technical and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
