This position requires interfacing with members of the Management Team, Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service to service existing National Account customers in the retail channel. Specific market segments include selling retail bags and retail sheeting in the DIY/Hardware, Grocery, Mass, and value channels.ResponsibilitiesUtilize available market, consumer, and competitive information to develop and implement CPG retail selling solutions and strategiesNew business development via increased distribution with existing customer base, and attainment of new customersUtilize effective price negotiation tactics in Private Label bids and line reviewsDevelop and foster solid relationships to consistently penetrate strategic accounts; coordinates resources to develop preferred vendor statusInteract with existing National Account customers to increase salesWork with Product Management and Finance to develop customer specific product/pricing programsLead role in developing customer line review strategy and presentationsMaintain and build opportunity targets to drive incremental sales and marginInterface with management and product development to service existing customers and build new relationshipsForecast sales volumes based on current and historic order ratesEffective management of promotional funds and rebate programsTimely completion of weekly and monthly reporting responsibilitiesAttend customer trade shows and eventsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalentPrevious National Account CPG retail sales experienceMinimum five (5) years of progressive CPG retail sales experienceUnderstanding of both Branded and Private Label selling concepts and practices in a retail environmentAbility to assess market and identify differentiation opportunitiesExcellent teaming skills with ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutionsProcess and project management skillsAnalytical skills sufficient to complete well-grounded assessments of market potential and benchmark customer/market needsHigh proficiency level with MS Office and other business-related applicationsOrganized; results oriented; self-starter with good follow through and ability to prioritize/multi taskAbility to set priorities and achieve high goalsExcellent presentation and effective communication skillsAbility to travel 20-25%Our ExpectationsWe Expect Our People To Be Guided By The Amcor Way And Demonstrate Our Values Every Day To Enable The Business To Win.
