In this position, you will lead national sales activities, inspire and develop a high-performing field team, and act as a multiplier of Sobi’s vision, values, and strategic objectives. You will actively contribute to strategic and conceptual decision-making, ensuring our commercial initiatives are aligned with patient needs, market realities, and long-term business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the results in Germany (product sales, effective use of promotion budget, KPIs)Recruit, train and lead a team of field-based Key Account Managers/Sr. Key Account ManagersLeadership considering the different aspects of the leading role (manager, leader, coach, trainer, adviser, and mentor)Continuous development and sustainable performance management on individual level; implementation of trainings for the key account managerCoordination and realization of central and regional sales activities (e.g., further education)Monitoring of the activities and regular control of success considering of different systems (e.g., CRM, market data)Capability planning and coordination between the relevant departments like marketing and medicine (management of interfaces) to ensure a seamless face of one Sobi to all stakeholdersSales force management and definition of target groupsSpend time in the field supporting business activities and interacting with key customers to understand the customer viewTake ownership of customer networking and manage ongoing key stakeholder relationships on a regional scaleProvide a feedback loop for local market requirements and competitor activities to ensure fully reflected in the Sobi strategic planMonitoring/tracking of the territory budget and sales as well as productivityAccount planning incl. implementation of regular account review meetingsEnsure ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies for self and any direct reportsQualificationsUniversity degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.Proven track record of success in sales leadership within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, ideally in specialty care or rare diseases.Demonstrated experience in leading, developing, and motivating field-based commercial teams, with strong coaching and performance-management capabilities.Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights (market data, CRM, competitive intelligence) into impactful commercial actions.Excellent stakeholder-management abilities, with a history of building trustful relationships with key customers, cross-functional partners, and senior internal leaders; strong communication and influencing skills in German and English.Additional InformationAll Sobi employees need to demonstrate behaviors in line with Sobi's core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership.
