The role involves managing network configurations, troubleshooting issues, and implementing automation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in routing, switching, security protocols, and Linux networking. Collaboration with systems and trading teams is essential to deliver dependable, low-latency network solutions in a demanding environment.What You'll Work OnMaximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, network optimization.Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)Providing hands-on network support for production issues related to Colo/trading, office, and data center environmentsNetwork Automation which includes pushing/updating configuration of multiple infra devicesSupport and Administer firewall environmentsUpgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releasesProvide direct technical support of Linux and related technology in a production/live trading environmentProvide direct technical support for networking issues and related areas in the production/live trading environment on Linux servers.Knowledge of Multicast routing, PIM, IGMP protocols etc.Assisting Networking monitoring and troubleshooting of Linux based servers, including supporting hardware changes, software installations, and upgradesWhat We're Looking ForEngineering degree in Computer Science (preferred) or any other discipline with 2 - 5 years of experienceCertification CCNP Exposure on AWS will be advantageAbility to set up and configure server hardware.Expertise with VPNs (Ipsec VPN, SSL VPN, Site-To Site VPN) and Firewall (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)Experience in Routing and Switching (VLANs, Inter VLAN routing, VTP, STP, Etherchannel, Layer 3, BGP, Static routing, Dynamic Routing Protocols)Experience in Firewall and SecurityKnowledge of Linux and Shell/Python scriptingHands on experience in Monitoring Tools, preferably in financial industryAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple high priority projects Ability to learn new technologies quicklyGood communication skillsWhy Join UsAt Quadeye, there's no hierarchy, no red tape, and we believe that life beyond the desk matters just as much as the work itself.
