Operations Supervisor

We currently have an immediate opening for an energetic and reliable individual working full-time in the position of Shop Supervisor. The successful candidate must possess leadership and team management skills; be able to multi-task; is self-motivated; and have good organizational skills with attention to quality and detail. Responsibilities: ·        Knowledge with set up and operation of CNC Machines, Lathes, etc.·        Read and interpret drawings ·        Experience with MasterCam is an asset·        Supervise/Assist Team of 10-15 employees·        Ensure manufacturing specifications are followed·        Ensure project deadlines are achieved·        Maintain machines and workstations through preventative maintenance·        Troubleshoot/Repair and improve machine processes when needed·        Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications: ·        Preferably 5+ years minimum experience as a Tool & Die Maker·        Minimum 10 years Machinist experience·        Previous Supervisory/Leadership experience·        Excellent organizational and communication skills ·        Possess problem-solving and decision-making skills·        Basic computer skills What’s in it for you: ·        Salary - Negotiable·        Benefits (after probationary period)·        3 weeks’ vacation to start·        40+ hour work week ·        Monday – Friday  Day Shift·        Climate controlled environmentBenefits: ·        Dental Care·        Vision Care·        Extended Health Care·        LTD (Long-Term Disability)
