Operator, dayshiftThe family business Janus Vaten BV specialises in the production, sale and reconditioning of steel and plastic packaging. Due to expansion of our business activities in our production department of new steel packaging, we are looking for an experienced process operator.Do you want to use your knowledge and skills to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? Then Janus Vaten in Oosterhout has a challenging vacancy for you!What does the position of process operator look like?As a process operator in the new packaging production department, you are responsible for the quality, quantity and overall effectiveness of the production line. You will be responsible for adjusting the production line to complete the daily production schedule of tops, bottoms and bodies. This will require you to work accurately to ensure that machines are adjusted to the correct specifications. You will be responsible for the timely conversion of the line when there is a change of product. This is done in cooperation with a team of process operators. The ultimate goal; achieving the production planning according to the set specifications and quality standards of the finished product. You work together in a team of +/- 10 people. Consisting of process operators, production staff, a team leader and his assistant. As a team, you create a solid stock (tops/bottoms) and ensure the assembly of a high-quality end product. As a process operator within this department, there is scope to help further optimise the entire process.We are currently automating a production line.
