ROLE SUMMARYPocket City Farms is a vibrant urban farm and community hub in Sydney’s Camperdown that showcases the best in regenerative agriculture, permaculture and sustainability. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Partnership & Communications Manager to join our team. If you love working outdoors, meeting passionate like-minded people and being part of a small team passionate about urban farming, we want to hear from you!The Partnership & Communications Manager is responsible for booking, retaining and attracting new business for our school education and team retreats programs. This is a critical position that combines sales, marketing and operational support - enabling Pocket City Farms to grow our impact.The job is a 6 month contract paid role requiring 22.8 hours per week, including occasional weekend work, with an anticipated starting date of 27 January 2026. The role is hybrid with flexibility around how these hours are worked.As this work involves time working with children, a working with children check will be required.RESPONSIBILITIESRegularly check (at least every 48 hours Monday - Friday) the info@pocketcityfarms.com.au email and directing emails to the relevant team member or provide answers to standard questions and secure bookings.Team Retreats & Education ProgramsSecure bookings to achieve team retreat KPI’sRoster of staff to cover bookingsDrive repeat bookings and build relationships with clientsCommunicationsExecute the PCF Marketing StrategySocial media posts and content creation (3 - 4 posts per week) including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedInRespond promptly to social media queries or referring these to relevant team memberCreate marketing collateral using CanvaEnsure PCF website is up to date using SquarespaceWork on cross marketing opportunities with stakeholdersKEY SELECTION CRITERIAKeen interest in local and regenerative food systems, urban agriculture and projects that help foster local communityExperience in business development, partnerships and fundraisingAbility to work well both autonomously and collaborativelyExcellent social media and marketing skillsExcellent attention to detail and customer service skillsDESIRABLE CRITERIAExperience working with Canva and other design programsExperience working with Monday.com or other CRMExperience working with accounting systems (we use Xero)Experience managing web content (we use Squarespace)Experience in event planning and coordinationPrevious experience working with a small NGOGardening, horticulture or permaculture knowledgeHOW TO APPLYSend a cover letter, response to selection criteria and your CV to jacqui@pocketcityfarms.com.au by 18 December 2025.
