Medical Insurance Paid Time Off Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: Minimum of an Associates Degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience required Excellent computer skills, Medical Terminology experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills required Self-motivated Detail-oriented and accurate General knowledge of accounts receivable preferred Minimum of one year registration and scheduling experience Job Responsibilities: Completes all demographic and registration requirements in Epic. Submits subscriber and insurance information to real time eligibility (RTE) vendor for insurance coverage verification. Sets up insurance utilizing Epic system Answers patient questions including scheduling, registration and insurance concerns. Reviews visit type information and appointment indication to complete estimate for self-pay patients. Participates actively in department meetings. Initiates estimate inquiry with call center and prior authorization team. Creates estimate letter and mails to self-pay account patients. Remains calm and de-escalates crucial conversations. Attends education and training seminars. Other duties as assigned.
