A Personnel Specialist in the building materials industry is responsible for managing employee-related processes while supporting the operational and field staff who work in manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, and sales of building materials (cement, steel, aggregates, insulation, chemicals, etc.).Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding: Hiring skilled labor, warehouse workers, sales representatives, drivers, technicians, and administrative staff.HR Administration: Managing personnel files, contracts, attendance, leave records, overtime, and payroll inputs.Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with labor law, health & safety regulations, and company policies—important in factories and production sites.Employee Relations: Handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and supporting supervisors in performance and behavior issues.Training Coordination: Arranging safety training, technical training, and staff development programs relevant to building material operations.Workforce Planning: Coordinating with production and logistics managers to ensure staffing levels meet operational demands.Performance Support: Assisting in performance appraisals and tracking KPIs for factory workers and sales teams.Key SkillsStrong understanding of labor law and HR proceduresExperience working with blue-collar and field teamsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail in documentation and complianceAbility to work in industrial or factory environments
