Plant Engineer - Start immediately!Are you an experienced and proactive engineer with a passion for maintaining and optimizing manufacturing processes? With sector experience in battery/ energy storage / electronic or Pharmaceutical manufacturing sector experience!We are seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to join our dynamic team in Seven Hills. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and programming our production line, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.What You’ll Do:Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the production line to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Program and configure PLC drives (Omron, Mitsubishi, and others), working comfortably with both Japanese and English interfaces—language is not a barrier.Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.Work independently and proactively, identifying potential issues before they affect production.Collaborate with operations management to support continuous process improvements.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, modifications, and system performance.Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in maintaining and programming manufacturing automation equipment, ideally with PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).Strong mechanical, electrical, and control systems troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of programming environments and technical documentation.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Effective communicator who can clearly articulate technical issues and solutions.Ability to adapt to new technologies and learning new systems quickly.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance or automation.Experience working with PLC systems, HMI panels, servo drives, and related control equipment.Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Why Join Us?Competitive salary range of up to AUD 120,000 dep. on exp. plus superannuation.Opportunity to work on diverse automation systems with international technology.A collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.Reports directly to our Operation Manager,  providing clear avenues for career development.If you are a self-motivated engineer ready to make an impact in a manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
