About The RoleAs our Principal Advisor GM, you will:Coordinate and synthesise input from subject matter experts across legal, communications, scientific, compliance and governance disciplines to prepare briefs, submissions and correspondence on behalf of the Office of the General Manager.This role provides advisory support to a variety of subject matter experts ensuring content is accurate, appropriately structured and audience focused.Prepare policy, procedural, practice and case specific advice in support of the General Manager's responses to requests for information from the Executive Program Director, Queensland State Government, the National Management Group and other oversight bodies.Prepare a variety of correspondence, including Parliamentary Briefs; Ministerial and Director- General briefs; verbally brief General Manager, senior management and departmental staff when required. Conduct research, analysis and review of complex issues that may escalate and/or result in disruptions and implement appropriate action.Develop, manage and implement projects and programs that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the General Manager's office. Provide high level advice and direction in relation to program initiatives.Coordinate day-to-day operations to deliver on project outcomes that support the General Manager's capacity to deliver and maintain quality services.Provide high level liaison, consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders towards the development and implementation of whole-of-government policy and program initiatives delivered by the Program.Develop good working relationships across the team which support a culture of respect, collaboration and diversity, and which enhance service provision to support achievement of the Program's goals.What we are looking forWe are seeking the best suited candidate for the role.
