Renowned for quality, innovation, and service excellence, they are now seeking a skilled professional to manage and grow their Fresh Produce Category.Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management — preferably in FMCG or fresh produce.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Sound understanding of market trends, supplier networks, and perishables handling.Organized, analytical, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.Willingness to travel regularly for supplier visits and quality checks.Key Responsibilities:Source, procure, and manage fresh produce suppliers to ensure quality, consistency, and timely availability.Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, collectors, and distributors.Plan and execute procurement and sourcing strategies that align with business goals and seasonal demand.Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and profitability.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to ensure a competitive edge.Work closely with store operations and merchandising teams to maintain the right product mix and stock levels.Oversee product quality, wastage, and stock turnover to maintain freshness and reduce losses.Support category promotions and seasonal campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.📩 Interested candidates can send their CVs to: jobs@mindplus.global
