Procurement Specialist – production sector

Our partner company ranks among the world’s two largest glassware manufacturers and is one of the top five producers of glass packaging and flat glass. As part of their latest greenfield project, they are building their first glassware producing plant in Europe.We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Responsible (Buyer) to join the Team; which is located in Kaposvár, Hungary.The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Logistics, Supply chainPreferably 2+ years of experience in a similar positionGood command of EnglishProficient in MS Office applications; experience with SAP MM module is a plusStrong interpersonal skills, responsible, and a team playerStrong problem-solving, planning, and follow-up skillsWillingness to travelJob Description:Proactively Identify and research potential suppliers based on internal purchase requests for assigned materials/services; collect quotations, initiate tenders, conduct negotiations, and prepare reports for approvalDraft and monitor contracts for products, equipment, or services in line with procurement strategiesEnsure procurement processes are carried out in accordance with procedures and guidelines; monitor supplier non-conformities and implement corrective actionsConduct market research to identify alternative suppliers and materialsContribute to the improvement of procurement processesManage supplier relationships effectivelyWhat the company offers:competitive salary packageyou can join a brand new plant, and be amongst the first employees to shape its futurean international environmentdevelopment opportunities for the futurecommute supportcompany shuttle buscafeteria packagehigh quality onsite catering for employeesIf you are interested send us your up-to-date English CV!
