Job Description

Developing and implementing new products that meet the project charter while considering costs, material requirements, manufacturing processes, and other key charter targets.Collaborating with the product engineering and product application teams to review project feasibility.Design detailed project plans with product engineering, laboratory, and product application teams to manage all product development processes.Design products. This may include making calculations of product dimensions, 3D/2D drawings, and BOM.Working with third party agencies like AMCA/UL/Intertek.Overseeing the research, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and safekeeping of prototypes.Resolving production and product testing issues.Create weekly reports providing details on the progress of product development projects.Monthly review and update project schedule.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience in a design/manufacturing role.Strong understanding on sheetmetal design and manufacturing techniques.Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Strong initiative with likeable personality with the ability to interface and interact with people of all levels.Having the aptitude for providing solutions and solving problems and the passion for a sales support functions and rolesKnowledge in AutoCad/Solidworks and MS Office applications is a MUST.
