Job Description

We're seeking a Product Marketing Intern to join our growing Product Marketing function. If you're ready to tell the story of why digital is so important for foodservice and hospitality, eager to roll up your sleeves, and quickly make a tangible impact, this role is for you. You’ll be reporting into the Director of Product Marketing and working deeply within the competitive intelligence function for our Business & Industry, Healthcare and Higher Education markets. Start date in early January until end of April - this is a paid internship. You’re expected to be in our Toronto office (Liberty Village) three days a week.You'll primarily support our Product and Sales teams by contributing to the creation and evolution of our competitive intelligence function - it’s a brand new role on our team but a super important one. In addition to leveraging AI to help gather research, you’ll also conduct interviews, review win loss analytics, craft persuasive content and ultimately deliver on a series of CI sale enablement assets. Once completed, you’ll also prime the launch of these assets to our stakeholder groups to ensure they have awareness, understanding and what they need to start using them. Finally, you’ll be accountable for a post mortem on the process, as well as recommending next steps to continue to grow the function.Responsibilities:Create competitive intelligence assets (battle cards, deep dives, overviews, talk tracks) to help equip our digital strategy team with information they need to have constructive sales conversations Plan, develop, organize and disseminate new product launch marketing approach and materials with a specific focus on competitive intelligenceCoordinate planning, manage timelines, track performance, and conduct post-launch reviewsDevelop briefs, collaborate with internal partners, review, approve, and distribute assetsReview campaign results, utilize monitoring tools, provide recommendations, and report key metricsBuild internal bridges with the Sale enablement, implementation, delivery and care teams - seeking to understand their priorities, you’ll help us determine how we can work more effectively cross-functionally to constantly improve client and operator experienceThese bullets describe how you work:Driven by data to make good decisions: before launching into any project or task, you ask yourself what the business case is and how you’ll track progress and successA project isn’t done for you unless you’re able to get the data and debrief the team on what worked, what didn’t and what we’ll do differently in the future You believe that strong collaboration between cross functional teams is key for any project to be successful, and you take the time to build those bridges and get buy-in. And can confidently share them with your coworkers, at all levels.Qualifications:Mandatory - currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program pertaining to business, marketing, or foodservice and hospitality. Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skillsExceptional public presentation skills – you're comfortable speaking to groups and can convey your message clearly, tailored to that audienceFlexibility in managing varying priorities and workloads – you handle change with graceComfort using G Suite and Microsoft solutionsBonus points for experience working in a tech company positioning software solutionsExtra bonus points for experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, like a restaurant
