 The Biologics Manufacturing Center (BMC) Inc. is a new biomanufacturing facility created in response to the pandemic. A not-for-profit organization, the BMC aims to better meet the biopharmaceutical needs of Canadians. The BMC helps support projects of public interest, actively contributes to the overall growth and resilience of the Canadian life sciences industry and fosters industry development and innovation through Canadian production.  Backed by a committed and innovative team of employees, the BMC fosters a culture of agility and transparency, with a collaborative, result-oriented approach. We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for overseeing all activities related to the integration and manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products, whether drug substances or drug products. The person will lead programs from their initiation through to delivery, ensuring coordination of cross-functional teams. They will ensure that all deliverables are completed within set deadlines, while meeting budget objectives and achieving—or even exceeding—the quality standards expected by the organization and its clients. The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities: Manage project scope, establish plans and timelines, define the critical path and milestones, and clarify steps and interdependencies for stakeholders.Develop and implement structured plans for technical projects related to product lifecycle management, such as technology transfers or process optimizations.Lead the development and coordination of project plans, ensuring effective communication, involvement, and training of all necessary parties, on-time delivery, and adherence to objectives and budget.Monitor activities of all team members and functions involved in the project to guarantee the qualitative achievement of milestones within the approved plan’s timeline and budget.Influence function leaders to ensure effective project delivery.Identify and proactively manage changes and opportunities.Facilitate the identification of issues and risks related to operations and projects, and promote their resolution in a matrix environment, effectively documenting decisions and their justifications.Communicate performance indicators, progress against milestones, project risks, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders, as appropriate.Ensure all projects comply with current regulatory quality and safety standards in the pharmaceutical industry.Serve as the main point of contact with the client for problem resolution and gather information and data provided by the local team to facilitate effective communication with clients.  This role matches your career aspirations?
