Project Manager

About the role: My client is seeking a Project Manager to join their Northern Territory team to work on various building & construction defence projects.As well as being across the delivery aspects, this person will also help the senior leadership team in their continued growth & expansion plans in the NT as well as mentoring some of the current Project Management team.Your primary responsibility will be strategically managing projects through effective management of people and processes to deliver the projects on time, within budget and to achieve the desired outcomes aligned with the company’s objectives and in compliance with all relevant legislations.This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Relocation cost is covered for the right candidate. What You Will Do:Manage project planning, delivery and commercial performance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Lead by promoting a culture where safety always comes firstCollaborate with site teams, clients and subcontractors to achieve project milestones and maintain strong stakeholder relationshipsImplement and maintain project control systems and reporting procedures for continuous improvementConduct regular project reviews and risk assessments and provide progress, financial and compliance reports to senior managementWhat You Will Bring:Proven experience in project leadership and commercial management within the construction industryStrong understanding of Australian building codes, WHSEQ regulations and industry standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and deliver multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Relevant qualifications such as a degree in construction management, Civil engineering or equivalentAbility to obtain defence clearance
