Then this position as a QSHE Engineer could be the perfect fit—read on and apply!What will you do?In this role, you will share responsibility for the quality of the products delivered by the factory and play an active part in ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment. You will work closely with the QHSE Engineer and the Quality Inspector to improve processes, solve issues on the shop floor, and implement structural improvements. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in rolling out the company’s Production System.Responsibilities:• Investigate customer complaints and issues with supplier products that do not meet specifications. • Analyze and improve processes to ensure product quality and prevent future quality issues. • Evaluate processes, manage quality controls, and identify improvement opportunities. • Translate functional requirements into practical, technical solutions. • Independently lead projects that contribute to the Manufacturing Strategy. • Contribute to Health & Safety by conducting risk analyses, implementing safety measures, and increasing safety awareness within the factory. • Support sustainability goals by working on processes that minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. • Build a strong network within Manufacturing and the Supply Chain Quality Assurance department.What do we ask of you?• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering & Management. • Strong analytical skills to gather data, analyze trends (e.g., in Excel, QlikSense), and identify root causes. • A hands-on mentality and comfort working in a production environment. • Good planning and organizational abilities. • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, PDCA) and/or the ambition to develop these skills further. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both operators and management. • Accuracy and attention to detail to thoroughly assess processes and output. • Knowledge of or affinity with Health, Safety, and Sustainability principles, and the drive to promote a safe and sustainable workplace. • Excellent command of Dutch and a good command of English, both spoken and written. • Experience with quality systems and quality control in the metalworking industry is a plus. • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.About the teamThe factory employs around 165 professionals with various specializations, including turning, milling, welding, coating, and assembly. The Manufacturing QHSE team consists of two QHSE Engineers, a Quality Inspector, and the Team Lead.
