Quality Controller/Quality Assurance Executive

The leading trend setting and successful business house is expanding its business into diversified areas, now we are looking out for dynamic, passionate and challenging individuals with a positive attitude to join our team as Quality Controller / Quality Assurance Executive. ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough inspections based on the established quality assurance checklist, covering all stages of production. Ensure operators follow the correct cutting/edging specifications for materials. Perform stress tests and accessory evaluations as needed for newly developed furniture items to assess durability and functionality. Verify that all custom orders comply with unique customer specifications and requirements, ensuring full customer satisfaction. Assign unique job identifiers using job cards or quality control (QC) stickers to ensure traceability throughout the production process. Maintain detailed logs tracking materials, processes, and quality control outcomes for reporting and auditing purposes. Identify areas for improvement within the quality control processes and recommend enhancements to streamline production and improve product quality. Work closely with the production team to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. RequirementDiploma in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) will be an added advantage Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in inspecting wood products, furniture manufacturing, or related industries is preferred. Familiarity with quality control tools, techniques, and standards (e.g., root cause analysis, statistical process control). Proficient in using quality management software and maintaining detailed documentation. Strong understanding of material specifications, cutting processes, and finishing methods.
