One Liberty Properties, Inc. is a publicly traded REIT on the NYSE (OLP). Our primary business is to acquire, own and manage a geographically diversified portfolio of predominately industrial properties. OLP currently own 110 properties in 30 states comprising more than 11 million square feet. We seek an analyst to work with senior management in acquisitions, leasing and portfolio management. The position will be located at the firm’s corporate office in Great Neck, NY.  See - 1liberty.com for more information.ResponsibilitiesAssist in sourcing new acquisition opportunitiesResearch markets and comps to support valuation for acquisitions and leasingPreparation of letters of intentFinancial underwriting in Excel and ArgusPreparation of acquisition memorandumsAssist with presentation to Investment CommitteeReview of legal documents such as lease and loan agreementsSpearhead due diligence and assist with closing processAssist in managing the portfolio including: dispositions, leasing and financingSkills RequiredMinimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial real estate or Master’s degree in Real EstateExperience with industrial properties preferredBachelor’s degree required. Masters of Real Estate a plus.Strong analytical, quantitative and communications skillsAbility to work in an challenging, fast paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same timeStrong writing skills (experience drafting acquisition memorandums & loan requests a plus)Accuracy and attention to detail is criticalProficient in real estate modeling and underwriting utilizing Excel as well as Argus; including ability to model joint venture waterfallsExperience with market research via CoStar, Google Earth and market research reportsSalary – competitive based on experience. We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, pension, bonus of cash and stock.Timing – the position is available immediatelyLocation - The position is located at our corporate office in Great Neck, NY. The office is located 2 blocks from the LIRR train station and a 30 minute ride to Penn Station.
