Department: Front of HouseLocation: BirminghamCompensation: £19,656 / yearDescriptionReceptionist - Part TimeBirmingham£19,656We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient receptionist to work as part of a job share team in a corporate office building located in a prime central location, just short walk from Snow Hill station.You will relish the opportunity to take ownership of the reception, going above and beyond to leave a lasting impression on everyone who comes into the building. You’ll take pride in everything you do, ensuring the building always looks in pristine condition and play a crucial role supporting letting agents to ensure a VIP viewing experience.Hours - 7.00am – 1.00pm Monday to FridaySalary - £19,656Key ResponsibilitiesFront of HouseYou will become the face of the building, ensuring everyone receives a warm and professional welcomeTake ownership of the reception area always looking for ways to improve working processes and the service delivered to everyone visiting or working in the buildingEfficiently sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processesManage deliveries, including couriers and postDevelop a good understanding of the local area and produce a local amenities information file - becoming the ‘go to expert’ in terms of local knowledgeBuilding and ServicesDevelop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewingsSupport the Building Manager by ensuring any building issues are reported, monitored and managed to resolution – keeping stakeholders informedManage meeting room bookings as required, ensuring they are immaculately maintained and ready for useProduce a weekly site report for key stake holdersInitiatives & CommunityDevelop and introduce events, with the aim of creating a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace (as and when required)Introduce a monthly e-newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services– helping to create a community vibe (as and when required)Find out what’s happening locally and reach out to the local community to find supporting offers to help promote new businesses, local charities and encourage involvement with the buildingSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseProven experience of working in a similar customer service role/commercial property environmentVibrant personality and a can-do attitudeHighly organised and self motivatedProficient at delivering a high-end ‘meet and greet’ service, working efficiently and professionally at all timesExcellent verbal / written communication skillsMac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and related software packagesBenefitsContributory pension scheme / life assurance24 / 7 access to a virtual GP for you and your familyWellbeing resources: digital gym, nutrition planning, wellbeing podcastFinancial and legal information supportDiscounts and deals across multiple businessesReferral programmeLAH training academy
