SALES MANAGER – ELECTRICAL & HARDWARE SECTORWe are a leading and well-established organization in the Hardware and Consumer Durable Goods sector, renowned for our strong market presence, superior product quality, and commitment to customer satisfaction. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a high-calibre, dynamic, and results-driven Field Sales Manager to lead our sales team.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute territory-wise sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly and annual revenue targets.Strengthen and expand distributor & dealer networks, ensuring product visibility in key markets.Lead, mentor, and evaluate field sales teams; conduct regular sales coaching and performance reviews.Analyse market demand, competitor movements, pricing trends, and initiate tactical responses.Drive customer acquisition and maintain strong long-term business relationships with hardware stores, electrical traders, project contractors, and industrial clients.Ensure effective route planning, field visit schedules, and territory coverage for maximum market penetration.Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure on-time deliveries, stock availability, and credit management.Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts, territory performance reports, and present insights to management.Monitor credit collection, reduce outstanding dues, and maintain strong financial discipline across the customer base.Identify high-potential markets, dealerships, and strategic expansion opportunities for future growth.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10 years proven experience in Electrical / Hardware / Industrial product sales within a competitive market environment is must.A Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office and reporting tools, is expected.Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage key decision makers (dealers, contractors, engineers, project sites).Exceptional leadership, commanding and team management capability, including coaching field staff, reviewing targets, and driving consistent performance.Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills with the ability to report market insights and sales performance to senior management.Valid riding/vehicle license is essential and willingness to travel frequently across assigned regions.An attractive performance-driven remuneration package will be on offer to the selected candidate. Applications - malinda.weerarathna@yahoo.com
