Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager with a proven track record in the solar and distributed energy sector to lead business development and client acquisition efforts across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strong network within the renewable energy ecosystem, and hands-on experience driving growth in high-value solar projects and power solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to grow the company’s solar solutions portfolio across commercial, industrial, and hybrid segments.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.Lead and mentor a small team of sales executives to achieve revenue targets.Build strong relationships with EPCs, developers, and large corporate energy users.Collaborate with the technical team to design and deliver tailored solar solutions for clients.Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).Minimum of 5years’ experience in solar or power solutions sales;preferably in companies providing turnkey solar, hybrid, or energy infrastructure projects.Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, energy storage, and hybrid power solutions.Demonstrated ability to close large-scale B2B projects and manage key client relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Familiarity with Nigeria’s renewable energy market landscape and commercial project dynamics.
