Your mission is to transform business needs into reliable and value-creating data assets that fuel smart decisions. You’ll be part of our Central Data Team ,together with data scientist/analyst, working very closely with stakeholders across the organization to turn complex requirements into structured, trustworthy and insight-ready data models. By building our next-generation data platform, you’ll push the boundaries of what great analytics engineering looks like at scale.In this role, you will:Collaborate with stakeholders to define and translate analytics and data requirements into actionable solutions.Map and analyze business processes to ensure data models and transformations reflect accurate, value-aligned logic.Design and implement scalable SQL-based data models and pipelines across DAS, DAB, and DAR, while maintaining and evolving the Dataform transformation layer.Ensure data quality through large-scale SQL validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.Maintain YAML-based data contracts, support product teams with ingestion pipelines, and manage the semantic layer and BI tooling ecosystem.The main character we’re looking for 👀We believe that you are a solution-oriented analytics professional with a strong understanding of how business processes shape real value. You’re driven by turning complex requirements into clean, reliable and well-structured data models. Collaboration comes naturally to you, both within the team and in partnerships with stakeholders across the organization.You communicate fluently in English and hold a relevant educational background within data, engineering, or analytics, or have gained equivalent experience through your work.Furthermore, we believe you have:5+ years of experience working with SQL-first data engineering in a cloud environment, ideally across different data stacks.Very strong SQL skills and hands-on experience designing scalable transformations and pipelines.Proven experience with at least one physical data modeling technique (e.g., Kimball, Data Vault, Anchor, Focal) and a curiosity to deepen your knowledge.A solid understanding of layered data architecture (raw → semantic → consumption) and why clear separation improves resilience when source systems changeExperience with, or a strong willingness to learn, schema-as-code approaches where documentation and implementation are one and the same.The Nextory way of working 🏠At Nextory, we believe a strong and inclusive culture is key to our success - and that culture flourishes when we meet and collaborate in person as much as possible.
