Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager of Retail Development to play a pivotal role in shaping the retail landscape of our innovative project. This key position will involve managing the development process of retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's strategic vision and operational goals. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of retail projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and driving retail development strategies that promote customer engagement and business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the execution of retail development projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveryCollaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and operations to create compelling retail environments that enhance the overall guest experienceAssist in the identification of retail opportunities, conducting market research to inform strategic planning and decision-makingEstablish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, leasing & delivery partners, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's objectivesPrepare and present project proposals, updates, and reports to senior leadership, articulating the vision, objectives, and progress of retail initiativesMonitor project budgets, timelines, and milestones to ensure that all development activities adhere to the established plansEvaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to inform development strategies and ensure relevance in the marketImplement best practices in retail development, ensuring compliance with business unit operating model, local regulations and safety standardsGuide and mentor a team of retail development professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plusMinimum of 9-12 years of experience in retail development, project management, or related fields with demonstrated success in managing multiple projectsStrong grasp of retail market dynamics and trends, with the ability to identify and leverage growth opportunitiesProven project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologiesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing prioritiesExperience in the entertainment, hospitality, or leisure sectors is highly desirableDemonstrated leadership abilities, with a passion for developing and mentoring team membersBenefitsOffering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
