Senior Plumbing and Fire Fighting Engineer

Job ResponsibilitiesReview, develop, and support plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection system designs in compliance with international and local standards.Prepare, verify, and update BOQ and material take-offs for tender, procurement, and construction stages.Provide technical support and clarifications to site teams, subcontractors, and procurement teams.Review and approve shop drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications.Carry out hydraulic and plumbing calculations, as well as water supply, drainage, and fire suppression system design.Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations, fire suppression system design, and water demand analysis.Coordinate closely with architects, structural, electrical, and mechanical teams to resolve design and execution issues.Conduct technical assessments and evaluations of materials, systems, and equipment.Assist managers and quantity surveyors in cost control, variation orders, and value engineering initiatives.Ensure all works comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and local authorities when required.To communicate, coordinate, and leadership skills to interact effectively with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Prepare reports, documentation, and technical correspondence for management.To mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers or draftsmen.Other work will be assigned by the PLFF Manager and Head of MEPJob RequirementBachelor’s degree in plumbing engineering related field.5–8 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design and construction.Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC) and Cambodian regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.Proven experience in preparing and reviewing BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently in an office environment while collaborating effectively with site teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide value engineering solutions under cost and time constraints.Ability to work independently in an office setting while supporting site operations when needed.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and colleagues.
