Job Description

Responsibilities:1.Supplier Management:• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers and vendors.• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.• Maintain supplier database and monitor supplier performance.2.Procurement Process:• Source goods and services as per company requirements and specifications.• Process purchase orders and ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.• Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.3.Inventory Control:• Monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is adequate to meet the needs of the business.• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure proper documentation for procurement transactions.4.Cost Management:• Analyze and report on procurement costs to ensure cost-efficiency.• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function.5.Documentation & Compliance:• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.• Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.6.Collaboration & Communication:• Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and logistics, to understand procurement needs.• Provide support in the management of supplier relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.7.Market Research:• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential new suppliers or changes in pricing.Qualification:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.• Proven experience (2+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.• Strong negotiation and communication skills.• Knowledge of procurement software and systems.• Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed purchasing decisions.• Attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
