QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.About The RoleAs a Senior Program Supervisor in Rockhampton, you will coordinate regional maintenance programs, liaise with supervisors and clients, and oversee budgets, timeframes, and compliance. You will provide asset management advice, promote QBuild's services, and build strong client relationships through effective communication and negotiation. This permanent role also involves ensuring safe work practices and delivering sustainable outcomes for Queensland communities.Duties And Skills InvolvedAssisting in the management of client maintenance programs, including liaison with operational supervisors to ensure effective coordination, planning and delivery outcomes.Reporting to management and clients on the status of maintenance programs, including information on budget, expenditure, delivery timeframes and related matters.Developing and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective and regular communication, sound negotiation and the achievement of program outcomes which meet client expectations.Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with current human resource practices and principles, including employment equity, anti-discrimination and workplace health and safety.Providing professional guidance and advice to clients in relation to asset management solutions and assisting them to determine their strategic and operational construction and maintenance requirements and priorities.Coordinating regional maintenance programs, ensuring the effective delivery of client works across a broad scope of activities, including 24-hour emergency repairs, planned and preventative maintenance, asset condition appraisals, strategic maintenance planning, project management, and contractual maintenance services.Promoting QBuild products and services to existing and prospective clients through regular meetings and established forums and identifying opportunities for new business services based on emerging trends in asset management.Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.How do I apply?
