Do you want to be a part of a team that promotes and improves the health of its people and community?We are looking for highly experienced Project Support Officers to support our New Women and Babies Hospital Project team in delivering key development projects which will improve healthcare infrastructure for all Western Australians.We have two (2) vacancies for Full-time (76 hrs / fortnight), Fixed Term appointments for an initial 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s).Project Background And Position DescriptionThe $1.8 billion New Women and Babies Hospital Project is one of the most significant investments for Western Australia and includes:A new Women and Babies Hospital located at the Fiona Stanley Hospital precinct in Murdoch.Expansion of obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatology services, at Osborne Park Hospital, including a Family Birth Centre, birthing suites and theatres.The expansion of neonatology services at Perth Children’s Hospital.Relocation of the Sexual Assault Resource Centre, Genetic Health WA and the WA Register of Developmental Anomalies to their new locationsThis program represents a significant opportunity to improve women and newborn health services across the Perth metropolitan area and improve the delivery of healthcare to Western Australians.Project Support Officers may work on one or multiple locations within the scope of the Project.What is our Project Support Officers role?The Project Support Officer coordinates and contributes to general administrative and secretarial support to New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP). The position works within a multi-faceted project governance environment to manage and provide support and expertise in the development of detailed design and project management documentation.Key Responsibilities Will Include ProvidingAdministrative support to the Executive Director, Commissioning and Redevelopment and Project Director(s).Undertake research and analysis activities to support informed decision-making and planning.Collates and compiles project information and coordinates reporting as required.Provides secretariat support for meetings, workings groups and committees.Consultation and stakeholder engagement and management.Maintains and controls document management systems and processes.While your qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values and attitude speak louder still.
