Job Title: Video EditorLocation: DHA Phase 7, KarachiSalary Package: Rs. 85,000 – 100,000Job SummaryAl Midrar Institute is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our media team. The ideal candidate will be a visually driven professional with strong editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and an appreciation for Islamic culture, art, and aesthetics. This role requires the ability to produce engaging visual content that aligns with our brand identity and supports our educational and cultural mission.Key Responsibilities1. Creative Concept DevelopmentDevelop unique and compelling visual ideas aligned with the Institute’s branding and Islamic educational themes.2. Brand AdherenceEnsure all video designs and visual material follow brand guidelines, including typography, color palettes, and logo usage, while maintaining creativity.3. Cross-Platform Editing & DesignEdit and produce video content for social media, websites, digital campaigns, events, and internal communications.Support the creation of digital and print visuals (banners, posters, flyers, etc.) when required.4. CollaborationWork closely with marketing, content, and leadership teams to develop videos for campaigns, projects, and Institute initiatives.5. Cultural SensitivityIncorporate Islamic art elements, such as Arabic calligraphy, geometric motifs, and traditional design principles, ensuring all material is respectful and culturally aligned.6. Trend IntegrationStay updated with modern editing trends, tools, and techniques and apply them to keep content fresh and engaging.7. MentorshipProvide guidance and constructive feedback to junior designers/editors to maintain quality standards across the department.Key QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or related fields.3–4 years of professional experience, preferably in an ad agency or production house.Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia work.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and other editing software.Experience with Arabic typography and Islamic design principles is a strong plus.Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Strong communication and storytelling skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with web design (HTML, CSS, WordPress) or digital product UI/UX.Strong motion graphics and animation abilities.Understanding of Islamic history, culture, and traditional art forms.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter explaining their design process and how their experience aligns with the values of Al Midrar Institute.
