Social Media Manager Salary: £40-£42,000Department: Social Media / MarketingReporting To: Founder & Creative Director / Head of CreativeLocation: London Studio Based (Hybrid 2 days WFH / after probation period completion)Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and commercially driven Social Media Manager to oversee and lead the strategic planning, scheduling, reporting, content creation and performance optimisation of Khanum’s social channels. This is a planning-heavy, performance focused position requiring strong operational discipline, trend intelligence, and the ability to translate creative direction into structured, consistent output. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring no platform goes dark, no launch lacks momentum, and no opportunity is missed.Core Responsibilities1. Social Media Strategy & PlanningDevelop and manage monthly and quarterly social media calendars aligned to product launches, campaigns, and commercial objectives.Ensure consistent posting cadence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and emerging platforms.Own the scheduling and publishing process across all platforms.Maintain visibility across upcoming launches, campaign deadlines, and key trading moments.Translate high-level creative direction into structured, executable content plans.Identify content gaps in advance and proactively solve them.This role requires forward planning, not reactive posting.2. Trend Monitoring & Market ReportingConduct weekly trend reporting across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.Identify relevant audio trends, format shifts, content structures, and algorithm changes.Deliver structured weekly summaries outlining:Platform updatesEmerging content formatsCompetitor movementsGrowth opportunitiesBenchmark Khanum’s against key luxury and contemporary competitors.Recommend actionable adjustments based on trend insights.This role requires someone who lives on the platforms and understands momentum before it peaks.3. Performance Analytics & ReportingTrack, analyse and report on key KPIs including:ReachEngagementSaves & sharesFollower growthTrafficConversion contributionProvide weekly and monthly performance reports.Highlight underperforming areas and recommend corrective action.Work closely with Growth and Paid teams to ensure alignment between organic and paid performance.This is a data led role. Creativity must be measurable.4. Operational & Administrative OwnershipOwn content scheduling tools and internal tracking systems.Maintain clear documentation of:Weekly outputs per platformUpcoming content plansLaunch timelinesInfluencer content expectationsEnsure brand assets are organised and accessible.Create structured processes for weekend coverage, reposting, UGC capture, and platform management.Remove ambiguity from platform ownership.This role is admin heavy and requires exceptional organisational skills.5. Team Coordination & AccountabilityWork closely with the Head of Creative to ensure content aligns with brand vision.Coordinate with Growth and Digital teams to align on campaign objectives.Ensure deliverables are met without repeated prompting.Flag capacity issues early and propose solutions.Take ownership of platform health.We are looking for proactive leadership within social - not task-based execution.6. Content Creation & ExecutionCollaborate with Head of Creative on creation of consistent, elevated, and commercially aligned content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.Plan and execute weekly content shoots (in-house and reactive), ensuring sufficient content volume to maintain platform cadence.Work hands on in filming, directing, and editing short form video content where required.Translate campaign objectives into platform-native content formats.Ensure every launch has a clear content rollout plan (tease → reveal → push → sustain).Create structured content pillars to avoid reactive, last-minute posting.Maintain a minimum weekly content output benchmark per platform.Repurpose high-performing content intelligently across channels.Identify when founder-led, team-led, product-led, or community-led content is required and coordinate accordingly.Ensure no platform goes dark due to lack of content planning.This role requires someone who understands that content is both creative and operational - output must be consistent, measurable, and aligned with revenue objectives.Qualifications & Experience3 - 5+ years in social media management within fashion, lifestyle, or luxury.Proven experience managing multi-platform calendars at scale.Strong analytical ability and comfort with performance reporting.Demonstrable understanding of luxury digital positioning.Experience managing paid and organic alignment.High proficiency in scheduling and analytics tools.Attributes & Cultural FitThe ideal candidate will be:Highly structured and process oriented.Commercially aware and growth-driven.Proactive rather than reactive.Confident in making decisions and owning outcomes.Detail-obsessed and deadline focused.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.At Khanum’s, social media is not just brand awareness - it is a growth engine.
