We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.What are we looking for?We are looking for a Software Engineer and the role will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, creating user-friendly interfaces, integrating RESTful APIs, and collaborating with the team to ensure adherence to development standards. Experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web APIs, ReactJS, and Blazor is required, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is necessary.What are we expecting from this role?Executing the development plan and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications.Creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other modern web technologies.Supporting the creation of RESTful APIs and integrating them with databases and other services.Maintaining and supporting in-house applications within the specified technology stack, including C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web APIs, ReactJS, and Blazor.Assisting in implementing new in-house applications or new features/enhancements to existing applications to meet company KPIs or strategic projects.Collaborating with team members to integrate or utilize regional solutions/application kits according to our application development standards.Ensuring all developments follow defined standards and application development governance policies.Participating in Agile/Scrum meetings such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.Refining requirements with product owners, designers, and stakeholders.Debugging and resolving application issues.Contributing to optimizing application performance and scalability.Performing other tasks as assigned by Management.Who are we looking for?Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.Proven software development experience with hands-on coding.Knowledge and experience in agile SDLC methodologies, including JIRA documentation.Full-stack web development proficiency using C#, .NET, and front-end JavaScript frameworks (ASP.NET Core, Blazor, ReactJS).Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core Web APIs.Familiarity with databases such as Azure SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and proficiency in related tools.Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Additional experience or exposure to insurance policy administration systems, DBMS technology, Big Data, and data analysis.Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
