You’ll collaborate with project managers, field teams, and local jurisdictions to ensure compliant, high-quality system designs that meet NFPA standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA codes, local ordinances, and project specificationsPrepare detailed layout drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit softwarePerform hydraulic calculations and material take-offsCoordinate with project managers, estimators, and field installers to ensure design accuracy and constructabilityReview submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts for quality and complianceAssist with permitting and plan review submissions as requiredCommunicate with clients, contractors, and inspectors to resolve design-related issuesQualificationsNICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred2+ years of fire sprinkler design experienceStrong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and local fire codesProficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience a plus)Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsWhy JoinCompetitive pay based on experience (will negotiate a preferred compensationStable, growing company with long-term career potentialSupportive, team-oriented cultureOpportunity to work on high-impact commercial and industrial projectsAll inquiries will be handled strictly confidentially.
