Job DescriptionJob Summary: Provide operation support to production problems in element, ceramic or assembly manufacturing areas. Collaborate with process engineer, planer, purchaser, HR and other to make production efficient to increase productivity and limit waste, material usage, utility and another expense. Daily follow up production schedule to plan for manpower, equipment & factory supply to make sure good product and on time delivery.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide operation support to production problems in element, ceramic or assembly manufacturing areas. Daily follow up production schedule to plan for manpower, equipment & factory supply to make sure good product and on time delivery.Education & ExperienceMechanical /Industrial Engineer/ Bachelor of Industrial Management or another engineer with Industrial Management experience1-3+ years applicable experience in manufacturing setting in relation to trouble shooting of machine operation and diagnostic of production problems.Understanding of technical drawing and basic chemical engineering principals to manufacture parts in high volume setting. Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and solve production problems effectively and timely manner in production setting.Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through othersProficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access, SPC software. SkillsExperience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment managementAbility to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex/abstract issues involving external and internal priorities under time constraintsHandle special assignments promptly and professionallyProven ability to lead and motivate people as well as training of operators Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinion, to influence, to draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediateTotal Quality management experienceOpen communication and problem solving skills.Safety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
