Job DescriptionAt BubbleUp, our System Administrators keep our 500+ websites running on a large AWS instance. It’s a critical role, and we’re excited to grow our team with someone who brings strong technical skills, AWS experience, smart problem-solving, and just enough humor to survive the occasional “did you try rebooting?” moment.You'll help manage the configuration, maintenance, security, and reliable operation of our AWS server environment, virtualization, and cloud environments.Above all, we’re looking for someone who is a hard worker, collaborative, curious, and committed to improving how things work. This is an on-site role based in our Woodlands, TX office. If that’s a fit, we’d love to connect.What You’ll DoManage and maintain our AWS server environment that supports hundreds of websitesOversee AWS environments including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, and related servicesImplement and manage system security, updates, patches, and automationTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and with minimal disruptionEnsure system reliability, performance, and scalability across environmentsSupport cross-functional teams by providing tools, access, and technical guidanceContribute to documentation, process improvements, and long-term infrastructure planningWhat You BringProven experience as an AWS System Administrator or similar roleHands-on AWS experience (certifications are a plus, enthusiasm is required)Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and systems architectureSolid knowledge of Linux and Windows server environmentsFamiliarity with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, scripting languages)Experience implementing security best practices across systems and cloud platformsA methodical, analytical problem-solving approach—with just a hint of healthy paranoiaExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teammatesIf this sounds like the next step in your journey, send us your info.
