The Southeast Europe (SEE) branch employs 250+ professionals, operates in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and has provided services in various sectors (Healthcare, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, E-commerce and Retail, Procurement, etc.) for over 20 years.In 2022 we stepped above and introduced two innovative software products: Desk Buddy and GROW.We have implemented a hybrid work model and offer opportunities for learning, development, and CSR activities, following and incorporating ESG elements.We work on a hybrid model with at least two days per month working from any of our offices.About the project:Our client is driving a new approach to breakthrough innovation through dedicated teams that nurture early-stage initiatives and develop them into scalable solutions.We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join one of these innovation-focused R&D teams.In this role, you will be responsible for transforming product management concepts into clear product and system requirements, contributing to prototype development, and supporting the full product lifecycle in alignment with quality management processes. After product release, you will play a key role in transferring product knowledge to internal teams, including product management and professional services.You will collaborate closely with software development, testing, and cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet performance, scalability, and quality expectations within tight timelines. Additionally, you may engage with stakeholders and clients to translate business needs into product design and vision.Your Responsibilities:Interact with Product Managers to turn product concepts into system designsWork with architects and subsystems leads for technical feasibility studies and to define product architecture satisfying system requirementsDrive prototype development in connection with the software subsystem teamAnalyze, design, and write feature specifications (functional design, workflows, high-level technical design, use cases, integration constraints, and performance targets) based on market needs and user requirements input from all product-related stakeholdersDevelop and maintain system requirementsMonitor feature development and testing progress and negotiate feature trade-offs when needed (with respect to scope, resources, and timeframe)Contribute to system risk management activities (Risk identification, Assessment and Mitigation)Transfer feature knowledge to Product Managers and Professional Services teams through trainingProvide inputs to Technical Writer for elaborating the Product documentationRequirements:5+ years of experience in product development or equivalent preferably in the healthcare or software development industryBachelors degree in Computer Science or related field requiredStrong ability to design user-focused productsCapacity to aggregate needs and constraints from multiple stakeholder into consistent solutionsProblem solving, and an in-depth understanding of the process of turning complex technologies into easy-to-use and reliable productsAbility to successfully establish and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders including R&D team members, Product Managers, Project Managers, IT resources, Sales, and SupportProject Management skills: Ability to build, execute and report on a multi-disciplinary planStrong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Nice to have skills:Working knowledge and experience of ISO 14971 (Risk Management), IEC 62304 (Software Development Lifecycle), IEC 62366 (Usability Engineering) is a plusKnowledge in cybersecurity is a plusIREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) is a plusSafety Risk Management certification is a plusBenefits:25 days of paid annual leave; we value your leisure time.Food vouchers.Flexible and liberal work policy, remote or hybrid office space.
