If you would like to play an integral part in our next stage of growth, then this opportunity is for you!Credera is the technology consultancy that sits within the Omnicom Group of companies, as such we are seeing potential growth from local and international clients requesting a range of capabilities.Here’s What You Will Do:As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering digital solutions that enable business transformation for our clients. This is a hands-on, solution-focused role, ideal for someone with strong technical roots who enjoys translating complex business needs into scalable, future-ready architectures.In this role, you will:Work closely with clients and internal teams to conceptualize, design, and validate technical solutions aligned to business objectives.Leverage your engineering and programming background to evaluate architectures, propose design patterns, and ensure alignment with modern digital frameworks such as Next.js, Headless CMS platforms, Azure Functions, and MS Dynamics 365 CRM.Produce high-quality solution artefacts - including technical diagrams, architecture blueprints, reference materials, and documentation.Partner with cross-functional teams across design, engineering, and delivery to ensure end-to-end solution integrity and smooth handover into execution.Act as a trusted advisor to clients by assessing current-state architectures, identifying optimization opportunities, and recommending technology interventions.Contribute to pre-sales discussions, effort estimation, and technical feasibility assessments, supporting the creation of robust, cost-effective digital transformation proposals.Collaborate with a global network of digital experts working across diverse platforms and technologies to deliver innovative and connected customer experiences.Hours:This is a permanent role within our Technology function. However, we do consider flexible ways of working that allow the best outcomes for our team.Location:This role offers hybrid working: Office-based on a 3 out of 5 days basis. While Sydney is the home location, there is flexibility to work from our offices in Melbourne and other capitals. Occasional travel to Canberra will be required.Responsibilities:Lead the solution design process across multiple digital platforms and integrations.Translate business and functional requirements into clear, technically sound architecture designs.Provide technical direction during project initiation, ensuring alignment between solution, scope, and delivery timelines.Create and maintain solution design documents, data flow diagrams, and integration references.Work with delivery teams to ensure adherence to design principles and quality standards throughout the SDLC.Own the successful delivery of tech solutionsIdentify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges early and work proactively towards mitigation.Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and practices to continuously improve solution design quality.Who You Are:Who you areTechnical Capability10–14 years of experience in digital or technology consulting, with at least 3–5 years in solution design or technical leadership.Strong engineering or development foundation with exposure to front-end technologies (Next.js, React, etc.), enterprise and data platforms (Azure, MS Dynamics 365), and API-driven architectures such as using APIM and event bus flows.Experience designing solutions that integrate multiple systems and third-party services, ‘composable’ architectures.Familiarity with Sitecore, HyGraph (GraphQL) or other headless CMS frameworks is a strong plus.Proven ability to produce architecture diagrams, documentation, and reference models for internal and client use.Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps practices.Prior experience in consulting environments or client-facing solution roles is highly desirable.Attributes Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Analytical and structured thinker with strong problem-solving ability.Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic client environments.Collaborative mindset and ability to influence without authority.Pragmatic, delivery-oriented attitude—balancing innovation with feasibility and cost-effectiveness.Australian Citizens only Desirable ExperiencePrevious Security Clearance, or now willing to undergo vetting processExposure to large-scale digital transformation or modernization programs.Prior experience in public sector or enterprise-level engagements.Qualifications / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.Architecture or solution design certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solution Architect, Sitecore, or Dynamics certifications) are desirable.
