The Transportation Manager will oversee daily operations related to transportation and fleet management, including coordinating shipments, planning routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role requires monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and optimizing efficiency. Additional tasks include cultivating positive relationships with staff, suppliers, and customers, and addressing any service-related concerns effectively. Qualifications Experience in Operations Management and Transportation ManagementSolid understanding of Fleet Management, including vehicle maintenance and logisticsStrong Customer Service and Communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team membersExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient scheduling and issue resolutionKnowledge of transportation-related regulations and safety compliance is an advantageProficiency in relevant software and tools related to transportation and logistics managementA bachelor's degree in Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferredProven experience in a leadership or managerial role within the transportation or logistics industry is highly valuable
