As an Urban Designer reporting into the Senior Design Manager - Master Planning working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the conceptualization and development of our large-scale masterplans such as Azizi Venice — a 136-hectare Venetian-inspired waterfront city in Dubai South featuring swimmable lagoons, retail boulevards, cultural venues, and over 200 luxury villas and 100 residential buildings — as well as upcoming communities like Azizi Milan and Monaco Mansions. You will play a key role in shaping mixed-use, high-quality, and people-centric environments that integrate residential, hospitality, retail, and public realm components, while ensuring connectivity, sustainability, and design excellence across all phases of planning and implementation.Responsibilities includeAssist in prepare master plans and urban design schemes from concept through to detailed design phasesConduct site analyses: topography, infrastructure, existing built fabric, context, climate, views, accessibility, etc. Assist in developing land use strategies, zoning, public realm layouts, streetscapes, open space networksProduce visualizations: sketches, 3D models, renderings, diagrams, presentation boards Coordinate with architecture, landscape, infrastructure, transport, environment and other consultantsUnderstand and apply UAE/Dubai planning regulations, codes, sustainability standardsParticipate in client presentations, workshops, design charrettesManage parts of project delivery: scheduling, quality control, documentationPrepare technical reports, feasibility studies, code compliance documentationStay current with design trends, sustainable design practices, materials, and technologyHere's what you'll needBachelor’s degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture or related field; Master’s degree is a plusShould have at least 3 years of experience as an Urban DesignerProficient in relevant design and visualization software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS; knowledge of Revit or BIM an advantageGood knowledge of local (Dubai/UAE) planning policies, regulations, and approvals processAbility to work independently and also within a multidisciplinary, multicultural team
