Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Post-Production Video Editor who can envision and create high-quality visual assets for Jacob & Co. We’re seeking someone versatile — not limited to one skill set — but a creative jack of all trades in video editing.Responsibilities:Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per weekShift: 9 AM – 6 PM EST (Flexible shifts can be arranged depending on circumstances)Work on a wide range of quick-turnaround post-production projects, including rotoscoping, color correction, and visual effectsEnsure all deliverables meet project goals, creative direction, and deadlinesHandle various tasks such as video editing, color correction, audio transcription, image recoloring, video conversion and compression, title and transition graphics, and interview editsOccasionally propose creative ideas or process improvements to enhance efficiency and output qualityTechnical Skills:Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci ResolveKnowledge of motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a strong plus, especially for titles and on-screen graphics
