VP of Performance Marketing – TravelTech Scale-up | London (Hybrid)We’re hiring a VP of Performance Marketing for a profitable, high-growth travel-tech scale-up that’s redefining the way people explore the world.This is the third senior marketing hire I’ve supported for them recently each one joining because of the company’s clarity, pace, and genuine commercial ambition.You’ll be joining at an exciting inflection point: the brand is scaling internationally, shifting its growth model from pure acquisition to sustainable performance, and investing heavily in the technology and people to get there.You’ll spend two days a week in their central London HQ, working with smart, collaborative teams across marketing, product, and analytics.The RoleYou’ll lead a team of 15+ including multiple Heads of, each with their own teams beneath them.Your remit: to bring sharper focus, stronger measurement, and smarter investment decisions across all paid channels web and app.It’s a senior leadership role with full budget ownership and a mandate to evolve how performance marketing fuels profitable growth.Your First 12 MonthsModernise measurement and attribution – Implement better tools and frameworks that give the business clear, trusted visibility of ROI, CPA, and incremental growth.Strengthen app marketing performance – Shift the balance of spend toward app acquisition and retention, building new funnels and optimising conversion from install to purchase.Energise and align the team – Create clarity across channels, coach and upskill talented specialists, and foster more cross-functional collaboration.Drive profitability and growth – Manage a multi-million-pound global budget to deliver efficient, margin-aligned results while testing new routes to scale.Future-proof the function – Introduce new ideas, tools, and ways of working that move the business from channel efficiency to holistic, data-driven growth.About YouYou’re a senior performance marketing leader who combines commercial instinct with technical depth.You’ve led multiple channel heads before and can balance strategic direction with operational detail.You’re as comfortable talking blended CPA and margin as you are reviewing keyword structure or app attribution setup.Must-HavesExperience leading multi-channel teams (15+ people) with senior direct reports, I.e Head ofs beneath youDeep expertise in Paid Search and App Marketing.Proven record managing £10m–20m+ budgets to cost-of-sale or ROI targets.Strong understanding of attribution and incrementality tools (Fospha, Northbeam, TripleWhale, Appsflyer, Adjust).Analytical, data-literate, and confident using insights to guide commercial decisions.You’ll Love This IfYou want to lead a capable team through its next stage of evolution and growth.You like being hands-on enough to stay close to the numbers while shaping big-picture strategy.You thrive in a business that’s already successful but still scaling fast.You enjoy clear ownership, modern tools, and genuine autonomy.You Won’t Love This IfYou prefer large corporate structures with heavy process.You want a purely strategic role with little operational involvement.You’re not comfortable making commercial calls based on data.
