If so, this is your chance to build your career from the ground up in our Warehouse Leadership Trainee Program.GXO offers you a unique two-year journey to develop into a future Warehouse Operations Manager at our state-of-the-art automated warehouse in Lelystad, the largest automated logistics site in the Netherlands. You’ll rotate across multiple departments, gain hands-on operational experience, work on improvement projects, and receive leadership mentoring. Upon successful completion, you’ll be ready to take full ownership of a team and operation.This is more than a traineeship, it’s your fast track to a leadership career in logistics!What you do during the programPhase 1: Warehouse Operations (2 weeks) You’ll start your journey on the warehouse floor, gaining a full understanding of our operations. From inbound to outbound and order picking, you’ll learn how efficiency, safety, and teamwork come together to deliver top results.Phase 2: Support Office (6 weeks) Discover the business behind the operations. You’ll rotate through administration, transport, quality, and maintenance to see how each department contributes to overall site performance.Phase 3: Specialist WHM / Automatista (6 months) Immerse yourself in specific areas such as Flatpack and GOH operations, where you’ll work closely with automated systems and process optimization. This phase builds your analytical and technical foundation for managing complex flows.Phase 4: Support Departments (1 month) Gain insight into HR and Finance, and if needed, other corporate functions. You’ll learn about people management, workforce planning, cost control, and compliance.Phase 5: Improvement Project (3 months) Take ownership of a real project that drives productivity or quality improvement within a GXO site. You’ll analyse data, develop solutions, and present your results to senior leaders.Phase 6: Warehouse Manager Role (1 year) You’ll step into a leadership position, managing a team in this site. You’ll plan daily operations, coach your team, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety and efficiency.
