We foster a collaborative culture that values innovation, cares about its people and respects the world around us.Position OverviewAs a Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for leading the warehouse organization to ensure efficient and effective operations, guaranteeing on-time and complete deliveries to production, customers, external warehouses and waste disposal partners.Oversee warehouse processes and resource deployment by supervising the Supervisors directly and managing approximately 70 employees indirectly, setting priorities, allocating tasks and ensuring safe and compliant execution of warehouse activities.Identify bottlenecks and process shortcomings within warehousing operations, initiating and driving improvement plans that enhance performance, efficiency and alignment with company standards and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and People ManagementLead, coach and develop 8 Warehouse Supervisors (Team Leaders), each managing their own operational team.Facilitate and support the Supervisors in optimising daily operations, improving team performance and strengthening leadership capabilities.Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety and continuous improvement across all Warehouse teams.Support Supervisors with HR-related activities, including illness case handling, recruitment, performance evaluations and other HR topics.Operational ManagementEnsure the efficient execution of all warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, storage, internal transport, order picking and dispatch.Manage work allocation across teams and individuals, setting priorities to ensure smooth daily operations.Identify shortcomings, inefficiencies or bottlenecks in warehouse processes and initiate improvement actions and follow-up plans.Compliance, Quality and AdministrationActively prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.Compile, maintain and review daily reports, work records, time cards, payroll information, work specifications and operational documentation.Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety regulations, environmental standards and quality requirements.Maintain adherence to ISO standards, HARA principles and company policies.Knowledge and Skills:Bachelor’s thinking level (Logistics, Supply Chain or related field).Knowledge of logistic procedures and warehouse operations.Management skills and understanding of leadership principles.Strong organisational and communication skills.Knowledge of stock control applications (WMS, TMS).Knowledge of ISO standards, HARA principles and health & safety regulations.Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in English, both written and spoken.What to expect from us?An annual bonus of up to 10% of your gross annual salary.The freedom to bring out the best in yourself, work flexibly and the opportunity to grow and develop both professionally and personally.Plenty of vacation enjoyment with 40 days off and 8% holiday allowance!
