For over twenty-four years, we have specialized in manufacturing and marketing spices and allied products, proudly serving both local and international customers.As one of Sri Lanka’s largest spice manufacturers, we’ve built a reputation for quality, earning market leadership domestically while also expanding into international markets. Our premium Ceylon spices — including cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, cardamom, and spice powders — are primarily exported to Australia.We maintain rigorous health, hygiene, and safety standards in all production processes and proudly hold certifications including HACCP, ISO 22000:2005, GMP, SLS 1266:2011, and more. Beyond spices, we also produce noodles, sauces, teas, papadam, and flours, available in leading supermarkets across Sri Lanka.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Rasoja Food Products Pvt Ltd, located in Nittambuwa. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Other responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, assisting with budgeting processes, and providing financial insights to support decision-making within the organization. Collaboration with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency will also be required.QualificationsProficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgetingExperience in handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliationsStrong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong organizational and time-management skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional credentials such as CPA or ACCA are a plusPrior experience in the food production or FMCG sector is advantageous
