AccountantLocation: PeliyagodaIndustry: Real Estate & ConstructionSalary: LKR 100,000 – 150,000About the RoleOur client, a leading company in the real estate and construction sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to advance their accounting career in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.Handle reconciliations and assist with financial audits.Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions.Liaise with internal teams and external auditors as required.Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger functions.RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualifications (CA / CMA / ACCA) are highly preferred.Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in the real estate or construction industry (mandatory).Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical ability.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
