Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?The key purpose of this work is focused on the collection, analysis, and consolidation of financial data. Although the controller doesn't directly manage the budget, the job includes monitoring any variances, summarizing spending trends, and investigating budget deficiencies.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Manage accounting operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions like billing, accounts payable and receivable, and the general ledger. Financial reporting: Prepare and publish monthly and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Budgeting and forecasting: Coordinate the preparation of budgets, perform financial forecasting, and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts. Internal controls and compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls, document policies, and ensure all transactions are recorded and reported in compliance with statutory laws. Audit management: Oversee the internal and external audit processes and liaise with external auditors. Team management: Supervise and manage the finance and accounting department staff. Financial strategy: Support senior management with Procurement strategy and decision-making by providing financial data analysis and insights. Key Attributes and Competencies:Financial expertise: Deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), financial reporting, auditing, and tax regulations. Budgeting and forecasting: Ability to prepare, manage, and oversee operating budgets and financial forecasts. Internal controls and compliance: Knowledge of internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Technology proficiency: Skill in using accounting software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools. Attention to detail: Meticulous verification of financial statements, budgets, and records to ensure accuracy. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., Commerce, Business Administration). Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an advantage. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, or controlling roles is an added advantage.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Experience in FMCG environment is an added advantage Additional Information:Band: IXAB InBev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
